We Are at 'Sunset Point' All Year Round!

Admire a glorious sunset while enjoying cocktails with family and friends. A perfect way to finish the day and start the evening. The sun is low in the sky and the wind is gentle. Excellent calm water sailing.

Experience total serenity and listen to the sounds of waves, without being interrupted by a noisy engine. Traverse the Andaman Sea and marvel at the many beautiful rugged islands of Langkawi.

Key Highlights:

  • Enjoy great photo opportunities from beautiful sunsets to wildlife. Flying fish, graceful eagles, palm-lined beaches and a good chance of seeing dolphins.
  • Witness a spectacular sight of the tropical sun sinking into the horizon of the Andaman Sea and if you are lucky, you'll catch a natural phenomenon of the fabled "green flash".
  • Have fun and cool off in our famous salt water Jacuzzi with a cocktail in hand.
Choose between Sunset Dinner Cruise or Sunset Cocktail Cruise.

Sunset Dinner Cruise

From 5pm to 8pm
One of our most popular cruises.
We started this sunset cruise back in 1989 and it's still as popular now as it was back then. Highly recommended!

You'll experience:

  • A magnificent Langkawi sunset which you won't forget!
  • A salt water Jacuzzi that's out of this world
  • A friendly captain and crew with tiptop service
  • A sumptuous 19-course BBQ dinner and salad bar on board

AIR TREKKING

Heard of Air Trekking? Langkawi is the only place outside of Costa Rica to offer this Fear Factor-worthy activity!
The setting is at Gunung Raya, Langkawi’s tallest mountain and home to some 400 tree species and an array of wildlife including the flying lemur, mouse deer, lorries, wild boar, civet cat and at least 40 species of snakes. A guided trek up the 890m tall granitoid mountain is a popular rough-it-out option, though a different sort of adrenaline rush can be found just a few hundred meters into the primary rainforest.
Langkawi Canopy Adventure’s founder-guide Juergen Zimmerer leads an uphill walk through the bush, to a slab of rock where you’re taught how to abseil and familiarize yourself with the equipment. Once you’re certified fit to proceed, trek a little further to a network of cables and ropes. Safety is paramount. You’re hooked to a multitude of safety devices and – whoosh! – you take the leap of faith and sail, Tarzan-like, through the million-year-old rainforest.
There are three flying foxes and you remain 8 to more than 40m above the forest floor as you glide from tree to tree, most of them so-called Strangler Figs! Short treks in between require you to negotiate steep boulders with the aid of a tightrope –also called a postman’s walk - (and put all your balancing and rappelling skills to practice). At the last stop, you whiz 140m into a fig tree before abseiling down its 30-m tall trunk – and here it is where you get an idea, how that young German couple must have felt , that got married there, high, high up in Langkawi’s rainforest canopy , during the First Canopy Wedding in the World on December 4th, 2004!
The adventure lasts four hours. But the buzz in your head stays and some aching muscles remind you of the but mind-blowing experience. The views from up there – every now and then you have the chance to stop and admire the forest canopy - is pretty awesome.
